Dallas, TX – Team One Network Instructor, Joe Willis spoke to nearly 100 police officers, psychologists, and social workers about burnout prevention during the #BlueHELP Dallas Conference. Joe works with Blue HELP as an Advisory Board Member and is committed to increasing awareness of mental health and suicide prevention programs for MIL/LE.
Joe’s unique presentation walked participants through progressive symptoms of burnout through a progressive cycle of cynicism, exhaustion, and inefficacy. He suggests that when seniors, peers, and subordinates monitor members of their organization for the progressive signs of burnout we can intervene before a situation worsens.
Training Development
While he was in Dallas, Joe was able to spend an entire day helping the Blue HELP team develop their training program.

Joe sponsored Michael McSellers, a fellow member of Blue H.E.L.P. to become a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA). Michael spoke on cumulative stress Police Officers experience. As a former Marine and career police officer, Michael offers a unique and powerful perspective on the issue.
