Portable Video Systems for High Risk Operations
This course provides training in the use of portable video systems for all types of operations such as tactical team operations, hostage situations, active shooter situations and area security. Students will be taught safe and efficient ways to explore otherwise dangerous areas to observe. The students will conduct classroom training, interactive drills, and practical exercises. Upon completion, students will have gained the skills and techniques necessary to conduct high risk operations utilizing portable video systems.

- Force protection
- Checkpoint and area security
- Intelligence gathering
- Tactics and techniques for deploying video systems
- The use of technology to enhance safety
- Video surveillance equipment
- Cameras and display options
- Through wall camera
- Under door
- Video scopes
Duration: 3-Days (24-Hours)
Equipment Required: Pistol with three magazines each. Duty belt (or tactical vest) with all issued gear, body armor, flashlight and handcuffs with key. Participants should come prepared to train in all weather conditions and should bring a hydration system or water bottle. Wraparound eye protection, ear protection, and brimmed hats will be worn during all live fire training. Participants should bring a helmet and wear clothing suitable for training, but similar to garments worn while working.
