Fred is a retired U.S. Army veteran with an extensive Special Operations Background in both the Special Forces and the Rangers. After the Army he became a Deputy Sheriff in North Carolina. He served as a Road Officer, SWAT Team member, Team Leader and as the Team Commander. He was a Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and a Field Training Officer (FTO), as well as Training Police Officers in Officer Survival. While a Deputy He also taught as an Adjunct Instructor for Texas A&M University, Asheville Buncombe Technical College, South West Appalachian University, and Blue Ridge Technical Community College. Fred also served as a contract officer overseas for the Department of Justice. He served in war torn countries in one of two capacities, as either a Law Enforcement Trainer or in a Law Enforcement capacity. He served in Haiti, Bosnia, and several other countries. He also worked as an Instructor for the Heckler & Koch International Training Division for 7 years. He taught all the Tactical Weapons Courses as well as courses ranging from Armors Courses, Executive Protection to Tactical Incident Commander. He has trained Law Enforcement and Military Special Operations Teams from all over the world and the United States. Fred now works as a contract trainer for General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems Simunitions as the Lead Adjunct Instructor. He is responsible for training both the Law Enforcement Community as well as the Military Community in Reality Based Force on Force Training and Safety Protocols. He also trains new Instructor Cadre that are coming onboard as Adjunct Instructors. Fred also teaches for several other Law Enforcement & Military training entities as an Adjunct Instructor to include TeamOne Network, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), and several other Training Organizations. He is also the owner of InvictA Tactical. InvictA Tactical Trains Law Enforcement, Military, and Security personnel in Weapons and a wide range of Tactical, Leadership, Reality Based Force on Force Training & Weapons courses. He also trains civilian personnel in CCW, Weapons skills, Home Invasion and Active Shooter situations in the work place. Fred also does Security Assessment (consulting) and Active Shooter training for the Corporate and Business community.
