Master Handgun Instructor

Master Handgun Instructor Certification Course is designed to significantly advance the training of certified law enforcement, military, and security handgun instructors. The curriculum is designed to challenge instructors by pushing their handgun skills to the next level while exposing them to additional adult learning techniques. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure graduates from this training program have advanced handgun skills along with advanced instructor skills that they can apply to build better shooters on their ranges.

The Master Handgun Instructor Certification is a difficult and challenging class that takes a commitment to instructor professionalism and dedication to excellence. Students will be expected to work on class projects after hours. On the range, students will be pushed to levels most didn’t think they were capable of performing.

• Know how to effectively teach officers proper safety protocols.
• Understand how to apply marksmanship to prevail in lethal encounters.
• Understand and apply classroom instructional methods
• Understand and apply instructional leadership.
• Understand the duties and responsibilities of a firearm instructor.
• Understand how to develop dynamic and practical range training.
• Understand and teach handgun shooting techniques.

Duration: 5-Days (40-Hours)

Tuition: $995.00

Ammunition: 1,200 Rounds

Equipment Required:   Pistol, duty belt (or tactical vest) with all issued gear, body armor, flashlight and handcuffs with key.  Participants should come prepared to train in all weather conditions and should bring a hydration system or water bottle.  Wraparound eye protection, ear protection, and brimmed hats will be worn during all live fire training.  Participants should wear clothing suitable for training, but similar to garments worn while working.
