This class will teach new instructors the duties and responsibilities of law enforcement firearms instructors, instructional methods, instructional leadership, how to effectively teach firearm skills, and how to develop dynamic and practical range training. Range drills will enforce skills in the areas of coaching, range procedures and commands, range safety, training culture, accuracy, multiple threats, decision-making, shooting while moving, identifying threats, reduced light environments, use of cover, malfunction clearing, and much, much more. Most importantly, students will learn how to effectively diagnose and coach shooters.

Duration: 5-Days (40-Hours)
Tuition: $975.00
Ammunition: 1200 Rounds
Equipment Required: Patrol Rifle with three magazines. Duty belt (or tactical vest) with all issued gear, body armor, flashlight and handcuffs with key. Participants should come prepared to train in all weather conditions and should bring a hydration system or water bottle. Wraparound eye protection, ear protection, and brimmed hats will be worn during all live fire training. Participants should wear clothing suitable for training, but similar to garments worn while working.
